City & Guilds 1884 Certificate Level 3 In Conflict Management (Physical Intervention Skills)
Course overview:
The City & Guilds 1884 Level 3 certificate in Conflict Management (physical intervention skills) provides knowledge and skills required for those who work where there is an increased risk of physical assault. The qualification addresses the use of physical intervention skills in order to reduce the risk of harm and injury to all parties.
An additional unit dealing with the practice and principles behind dealing with difficult behaviour in the care setting is also included if required.
It is both a theory and practical course requiring active participation from course delegates. There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking this qualification, and assessment is via a multiple choice test and practical demonstration. The course is presented in an informal manner so that delegates can relax and enjoy the learning experience.
