This course is designed to equip staff with the skills necessary to deal with the situations that may arise when dealing with sufferers of Epileptic Difficulties:

- Questionnaire: What do we think we know?
- What is a seizure?
- Possible contributory factors to seizures e.g. tiredness
- Signs and symptoms of epilepsy
- Types of seizure
- How do we deal with an epileptic seizure?
- First aid and epilepsy
- How can we best support people with epilepsy to lead an normal a life as possible?
- Re-visit the questionnaire
- Any questions
- Evaluations.
